Yaris-ul cu numarul 1 milion construit in Europe

Pe 11 decembrie, la 18:00, Yaris-ul cu numarul 1 mil. a iesit de pe linia de productie din Franta.


Azi Toyota Motor France are o capacitate de productie de 270.000 unitati pe an si o forta de munca de 3950 angajati care lucreaza in 3 schimburi.


Tadashi Arashima, President and CEO, Toyota Motor Europe, a laudat realizarile TMF si calitatea lucrului din uzina franceza :

Since its launch, TMMF has consistently met the very demanding Toyota standards in terms of quality, efficiency and flexibility, delivering a valued product that has been Toyota’s biggest seller in Europe since 2000. This milestone shows the relevance of our strategy of building our core models in Europe."


De la lansarea primului model, Yaris a fost o poveste de succes pentru Toyota in Europa. Numita Masina Anului in 2000, s-a remarcat prin cea mai sigura masina din segmentul sau la Euro NCAP. Prima generatie Yaris a fost livrata la mai mult de 1.4 milioane clienti in Europa intre 1999 si 2005.


Noua generatie Yaris deja se dovedeste a fi o si mai mare lovitura cu vanzari in 2006 atingand 250.000 unitati. Noul Yaris ofera un pachet mai avansat de dotari, spatiu mai mare in interior si versatilitate, folosirea unor tehnologii avansate, confort, performanta si siguranta - Yaris a obtinut 5 stele la Euro NCAP ( 35 puncte la protectia adultilor )


Toyota Motor Manufacturing France este stabilita in zona Valenciennes, Nordul Frantei. Fabrica reprezinta o investitie totala de €897 milioane din Octombrie 1998.


Toyota Motor Europe (TME) are in plan sa depaseasca 1.2 million unitati in Europa in 2008. Cresterea vanzarilor va fi suportata de o retea de 9 fabrici – localizate in Franta, Marea Britanie, Portugalia, Turcia, Polonia, Cehia si in curand Rusia – pentru a putea furniza o capacitate europeana de peste 850,000 unitati.

NEW YARIS ZINC

Image-conscious motorists can look the business and save money in the New Year with the introduction of the new Yaris Zinc.

The Zinc enjoys the same specification as the regular T3 Yaris, but ups the style quotient with the addition of alloy wheels (with locking wheelnuts) and metallic paint. Not only do these features come at no extra cost (their combined value is GBP800), the Zinc is priced GBP615 less than the T3. No maths degree is required to work out that this adds up to a genuine New Year bargain.

In common with the T3, it comes with front, side, curtain shield and driver’s knee airbags, air conditioning, six-speaker sound system with CD player and MP3/WMA file recognition, leather-trimmed steering wheel with additional audio controls, electrically adjustable door mirrors and height-adjustable driver’s seat.

The Yaris Zinc goes on sale on 1 January and is available in three and five-door body styles with a choice of 1.3 VVT-i petrol or 1.4 D-4D 90 diesel engines and Eclipse Black or Venetian Silver metallic paint finishes. Owners can also choose between the standard five-speed manual transmission or Toyota's MultiMode gearbox, which offers full automatic or manual gear selection. On-the-road prices start at GBP9,695 for the three-door 1.3 VVT-i model.

salut, legio, mersi ptr. welcome! :th_salute:
adevarul e ca am dat buzna pe forumul asta (raspunzand unei invitatii destul de veche a webmaster-ului ce am descoperit-o abia acum!) cu niste stiri (despre yaris si rav4) pe care le primesc ca abonat de la toyota uk. si pe care le-am trantit ca atare, adica netraduse :exclaim: shame on me! am primit atentionare de la webmaster in acest sens si promit sa nu mai recidivez. pe aceasta cale ii multumesc ca a tradus din engleza una dintre stiri.
